Instant Pot Sweet Pudding Recipe

Want a cool, tasty treat? Try this sweet pudding, traditionally called “kheer” or “payasam” in India, where it originates. You can cook it up almost instantly and enjoy it with family and friends!

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup vermicelli (make sure to double-check the ingredients and allergen info)

  • 5 cups milk

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 tbsp raisins

  • 2 cardamoms, ground

Note: This recipe requires an Instant Pot.

 

Directions:

  1. Make sure the Instant Pot lid is clean and dry before you begin.

  2. In the Instant Pot container, add in the ingredients one at a time in the order mentioned in the ingredient list.

  3. Stir the ingredients together.

  4. Close the pot and set the time for 10 minutes.

  5. After the timer, the Instant Pot should release pressure. Be careful when opening the lid.

  6. Stir well before serving and add more toppings as desired.

  7. Enjoy in a bowl!
