Rice Krispie Treat Recipe

This is one of my favorites and is quick and simple to make. It was an easy, tasty snack to bring to school for lunch and is also a really good one to share with friends! I used to love bringing it to taekwondo competitions for a quick energy boost between rounds.

  • 45g butter or margarine

  • 180g Rice Krispies cereal

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Line a square baking tin or tray with baking paper to prevent the treats from sticking.

  2. Place butter in a saucepan over medium heat.

  5. Put the mixture into a tin and press down firmly with a spoon or spatula.
