Cilantro-Yogurt Smoothie: A Leprechaun’s Drink

With St. Patrick’s Day coming up, we’re all waiting to find a pot of gold under a rainbow! But until then, try this delicious and wholesome cilantro-yogurt smoothie, fit for a leprechaun with its green appearance and delicious taste!


Time Required: 5 minutes


Yields: about 1.5 cups

Allergen Information Free from: peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, soy, wheat, sesame, fish, and shellfish

Contains: milk


Ingredients:

  • 3 handfuls cilantro (chopped, if preferred)

  • 1 cup of whole yogurt

  • 1 clove of garlic

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • a pinch of salt for taste

  • water (as needed)


Directions:

  1. Gather all the ingredients and place them in a blender until they reach a smooth consistency. Add in some water so that it is not too thick.

  2. Stir with a spoon, and sprinkle salt. You can then add more water or seasoning to your preference. Mix well, and serve!
